We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cyber Security Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our systems, networks, and data against cyber threats. You will design, implement, monitor, and upgrade security measures to protect our infrastructure and respond effectively to incidents.


Your key responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement security protocols, policies, and best practices.


  • Monitor network traffic for suspicious behavior and respond to security incidents.


  • Conduct regular vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and risk assessments.


  • Manage and maintain security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, SIEM solutions, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).


  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security into system design and architecture.


  • Investigate security breaches and lead incident response efforts.


  • Ensure compliance with security standards like ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, PCI DSS & etc.


  • Prepare reports and document incidents, responses, and outcomes.



What we’re looking for:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience);


  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a similar role;


  • Strong knowledge of network, cloud, application, and endpoint security;


  • Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO);


  • Familiarity with tools like Splunk, Wireshark, Nessus, Metasploit, etc;


  • Proficient with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks;


  • Industry certifications are a plus (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+);


  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;


  • Strong attention to detail;


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
